As Crystal Lake's only Bait & Tackle Shop, we're just around the corner from the public boat launch. We offer an assortment of equipment to meet your fishing needs—whether you're hitting the lake or wading one of the area's many streams and rivers.

We're a licensed minnow dealer and always keep fresh supplies of seasonal bait on hand, and we'll share any information we have about the current "hot spots," as well as what's working and what's just being dragged through the water. If something goes wrong with your favorite fishing rod or reel, we can provide repair services. We're also a DNR retail license agent. We're looking forward to successful season on Crystal Lake this year, with numerous tournaments being planned for the area!

June 27 - Here is the latest news we've gathered from our customers, the DNR, and various other sources: Crystal Lake Perch are being caught on worm and minnows at the drop-off points and weedbeds. Some jumbos have been reported in 52 feet of water. Smallmouth bass fishing is very good, with a lot of fish on their beds. Betsie River Some nice browns have been taken below the dam. Platte River Fly-fishing has been fairly brisk on the river. Little Platte Lake Fishing has been good for bass and large panfish. Frankfort King salmon fishing is very good right now.
